LinkedIn 102 - Benefits for Job Seekers & Recent Grads.

Targeted Audience:
Job seeking professionals and recent grads who need to get to work, find a job.  Typically these professionals have fiddled some with their Profile, but feel it's not their best effort.  Their networks frequently are less than 200 connections.  They hear that networking matters, some are reluctant.  Some feel that networking simply takes too much time to deliver immediate results.  Some prefer to focus their efforts on job boards.  They check their LinkedIn accounts occasionally sensing that they should do more, but return to job boards.  They are aware of Groups and are simply signed up and not getting much benefit nor making contributions.  They have not visited the Companies and Answers features.  When visiting the Jobs area they find they are often poorly connected to the targeted companies and dismayed that LinkedIn did not offer more.   They are usually unaware of the ability to customize their privacy and preference settings, the status update feature and its Twitter interface or when aware use it on a limited basis, not sure of the utility.
